Hi Carlos, we have tested the box with SYBR Safe but not yet with SYBR Green I, II, or gold. But like you said, the excitation and emission spectra of the SYBR dyes are very close to each other, therefore they "should" work very similarly to SYBR Safe using our filter combination.
We'll be testing these other dyes and follow-up with the results. Is there any special use cases why you want to use SYBR green I/II, gold and not SYBR Safe? We find that SYBR Safe is more economical as a cast-in-gel stain vs the other SYBR dyes. Are you using these other dyes to differentiate single vs. double stranded DNA or even RNA? Is it due to their availability in your location? Do you find sensitivity difference for your specific use case? It would help the community greatly if you can describe in detail why you choose certain SYBR dyes over the other.
